Facts about diamonds. About 65 percent of the world’s diamonds come from Africa. Then Canada, Russia, Australia , and south America. The countries that have produced diamonds, under "Kimberly" process are; Angola, sierra Leone, south Africa, Tanzania, Namibia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and central African republic. Some of these countries rely on diamonds as a major natural resource. Some of the revenues are being used to help fund education, and the fight against HIV/AIDS.
