Baby Daddy Drama

Baby daddy drama. Is it possible to have a true friendship with baby daddy while also being in another relationship? If the intent is kept good and in the best interest of the child by both party's then a friendship can exist. Will the child (depending on age) understand what’s going on? there is a time and a place for everything so if the child is young it might be in his or her best interest to explain things to them when they are older. But in the meantime all that child should know or feel from everyone is love.

Movies, Real Life, and Fantasy

Movies are a very good resource to find out the many different things that the world is thinking about, or doing. But we also have to be sure not to take things so literal. Some people get caught up in the characters and the roles they play, and it becomes a real life fantasy for them.

Paparazzi

Paparazzi. Overboard! Crazy! Dangerous! Murderer's? What’s going on? Why wont the law do anything to protect it’s citizens against the paparazzi? Especially children. Children who have to deal with being chased down and frightened by men or women who only have one motive, and can care less about the consequences.

Why get Married?

Why do people get married? Is it a fashionable trend? Money? Or is it true love. I would like to believe that becoming a unit, doing what’s right in the eyesight of god, and love would be the main reasons. However in this day and age, that does not seem to be the case.

Crooked cops

Crooked cops. To protect and serve, or to steal and kill. I believe that there are a lot of people in agreement that we have more crooked ones than good ones, investigations of police departments do nothing but make them better at covering up there crimes. How do the people of America confront these issues without putting themselves in jeopardy?

The Almighty Dollar

The almighty dollar. Some people see it as the root to all evil; some see it as a way of living. Either way both are correct. My belief is money can’t be evil or good it’s the heart behind the hands who bind it. And for some reason it seems as if more corrupt that innocent people have it. If my statement is not true, then how can poverty, starvation, and homelessness be explained. How can a man spend three million dollars on a boat that he is to busy to even use? When there are children sleeping in cars.

Ghetto

Bling, Bright colors, long nails, weave, all these things seems to go along with the term ghetto right! Or maybe not . There are too many people who consider these things to be hot to narrow it down to one specific group of people. What is ghetto anyway? Is it a way of living? Is it a specific area? Or cultural background? Is it negative or positive? Mainly associated with blacks? There is nothing wrong with being ghetto, if that’s who you are don’t be ashamed. Blacks have went on long enough being ashamed of their culture and creativity, always making something out of nothing. We need to keep it real ,the majority of blacks grew up with the least, and had to be creative in making a look of their own. So if you are ghetto I say be ghetto and without shame. If you consider where you grew up ghetto, no shame, your a person that knows how to survive. If you speak ebonics, so what , that does not mean that you're illiterate, all that means is that ebonics is your choice of communication amongst certain people. We just have to know when to turn it on and off.

Religion

I am not a person who is big on religion, I would like to think of religion as a divider of people. However I do believe in one god, how you worship and praise should be in your own way. Serving god and being a believer is something so personal and so precious, that I don’t think it’s fair to have folks telling you how to have a relationship with god.
Or if your not a believer, same thing, you don’t need anyone telling you
your wrong for not believing. Some people are raised with that factor in their life some embrace it and some don’t. we were brought into this world with a soul of our own, and we will leave it with that same soul, treat it well.

Family Matters

Family Matters. We don’t pick them, we just enter into them. However the ones that we are born with are not necessarily the ones we will always have in life. Situations change, people change. The morality and strength of the root of that family determines whether or not you will have them through life, or not. Even if you don’t see what you think someone in your family should be doing, doesn’t mean that they are not doing it! Take time to find out, get to know those who you think may be losing their way. And maybe it just may be you who have lost their way. Family matters don’t count them out!

Blood Diamonds, Movie

Blood Diamonds. Controversies about the film Blood Diamond starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Danny Archer, and Djimon Hounsou as Solomon Vandy. One of the controversies of this film was that the casting directors promised 27 children and teens who were amputees, that they would receive prosthetics for being in the film. However, several months after the completion of the film the amputees still have not received the prosthetics.

Tenacious D and the pick of destiny

"Tenacious D and The Pick of Destiny", I absolutely loved that movie! Jack Black is very talented, singing and acting. Co-star Kyle Gass was like the yin to Jacks yang; very funny combo. Story line was funny and rocked out! Really doesn’t get any better than that.

Thieves of Charity

It was said that some men got caught stealing donations form the salvation army through video tape. What exactly is the thought process on this? It’s hard enough to receive enough donations just to keep belly’s full let alone for anything else. What could one be thinking , to put them in the mind set to want to take from those who have to receive clothing, food, and shelter, through charity. A very sickening thing to take from people, especially children in need. Serious prayer is needed to make it through these times!

Funny Little childhood poem

Funny little poem I read as a child. One morning in the middle of the night , two dead men began to fight. Back to back they faced each other, pulled out a knife and shot one another. When the def policeman heard the noise he pulled out a gun and shot the two dead boys. If you don’t believe my story is true ask the blind man he saw it too.

Enjoy!

Rainy, and snowy days. A good time for the family to stay in doors and enjoy each other. Pull out the board games, the movies, the music, and order out! Make every moment count with your family. You will probably ask questions you never thought to ask, embrace things you thought you would embrace. Most of all have fun!

Discipline

Discipline. Learning your kids patterns, how they operate will help you to understand your child at any age, then you will know how to deal with them better. Always lead by example, do as you would want them to do. Redirect, bring good positive things to their attention. Finally, love, love, love, you can never love a child too much! Guaranteed you will get it back ten fold.

The Good and the Bad

Bad advice, Good advice. When do you know if it’s good? When do you know if it’s bad? I believe when you trust those who truly have your best interest at heart that’s where the good advice comes from. Some folks will feel that they have your best interest in mind and all along be judgemental of your situation, and when we accept and apply that judgemental advice most of the time unknowingly, then that’s when things seem to fall apart.

Missing Out

Are good men truly hard to find? Or do women tend to look for the $ versus the man. There has been far too many good men discarded because of the factor of what’s not in their pocket, and what’s in their heart has been forgotten. We fail to realize that some gold mines are in the most barren places, it never hurts to do a little digging to find a real treasure.
